Why Iran?

The people, for some among the friendliest in the world. Actually amazing given the pariah status imposed on the country. "You are our guests, welcome!" is a phrase you are about to hear often in Iran. You will be spoken to, invited at the house of people you have just met. You will always be greeted with a smile and flattered by the discreet gaze of veiled women. Iranians are one of the most dignified people I know. And although politics will tell you otherwise, and oppression is real in the country, the difference between what you know about the country and what you will actually witness may leave a huge question mark to you as to where the truth lies, and how much we are manipulated by our own media.
